Altura Table Lamp

The Altura Table Lamp is built on a principle of duality resolved into a single object. Two frosted glass orbs rise from matte black resin columns, each holding its own light source, yet together they read as one composition rather than two separate lamps placed side by side. The resin base provides a stable, grounding mass in a deep matte black, a material chosen for its weight and its refusal to reflect light, so that all visual attention moves upward to the glowing orbs above. The frosted glass diffuses each bulb's output into a soft, even glow, free of hard edges or visible filaments, producing a diffusion so complete that the orbs themselves seem to be the source of light rather than containers for it. The two orbs are set at matching heights, creating a horizontal rhythm across the top of the piece that feels architectural rather than decorative -- a deliberate symmetry that gives the lamp a sense of order and calm. Altura doesn't behave like a typical table lamp with a single shade and a single point of light; instead, it offers two equal points of soft illumination, evenly balanced, that together create a wider and gentler spread of warm light across the surface it sits on, day or night.

The resin base is cast to provide a stable foundation for both columns, ensuring the orbs remain level and evenly matched in height, which is essential to the symmetry the design depends on. The frosted glass used for the orbs is selected specifically for its diffusion properties, scattering the light from each G9 bulb evenly across the surface of the glass so that no hot spots or visible bulb shapes are apparent when the lamp is lit. Power comes via a standard 120V supply, with both bulbs wired to operate together from a single connection.
